Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES  

To be a  liaison between management, architects, project design, building departments, field staff and clientele. Create and manage schedules of sub-contractors, vendors, and field staff. Guarantee on time quality turn overs within budgets established.  Create change orders as project dictates to clientele. Negotiate contracts with sub-contractors and vendors and qualify specific trades duties. Weekly reporting of job status to management and clientele. Identify and potential delays and/or liabilities and create a plan of action to prevent these occurrences. Procure necessary close-out documentation and punch lists with the aid of our office staff and your field supers for on time billings.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2– 3 years of Retail Tenant Finish project management.
  • 5 years’ experience as field super or hands on carpentry experience in retail. 
  • Strong Analytical Skills in evaluating situations and outcome.
  • Love and appreciate demanding challenges.
  • Adapt to challenges and prioritize activities.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Maxwell’s Pro-Contractor MX is a plus.
  • Ability to lead others, create positive influence within organization and create a team-oriented environment.

Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Tools of trades in which you are proficient
  • Truck with valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Prior Safety Training a plus

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years with superintendent experience
  • 2 years supervisory experience in retail tenant finish
  • Strong analytical skills to provide options to problems and overcome potential delays
  • Adapt to challenges, as changes occur, to maintain on-time turnovers.
  • Pride in workmanship & responsibilities 
  • Ability to coordinate all trades and personnel for quality on-time completion 
  • Ability to travel extensively. 
  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
  • Be able to Understand sub-contractor responsibilities.
  • Effectively communicate with city officials and inspectors.
  • Demonstrate leadership and be professional at all times.
  • Actual hands-on proven field experience with good proficiency in more than one trade.
  • Some computer skills required to provide daily/weekly reports with iPad, iPhone, and/or laptop.

Carpenter

Responsibilities

We are seeking carpenters with extensive back ground in the Retail Tenant Finish Industry with a strong apprehension of retail scheduling, fixtures, drywall, and finish carpentry. These select individuals will also need to have the aptitude, drive, and willingness to learn and advance into superintendent responsibilities over the coming years.  We are looking for individuals who take pride in their workmanship and their accomplishments and who welcome challenges. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years verifiable retail tenant experience
  • Blue-print reading
  • Ability to travel extensively.
